Terms of Service for Driver Partners

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between JapanDriverConnect ("Platform", "we", "us") and independent commercial transportation operators, chauffeur agencies, and licensed drivers ("Driver Partner", "you"). By applying, accessing, or purchasing leads through our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Scope of Service & Legal Status

JapanDriverConnect operates strictly as an independent digital marketing and lead-generation service. We provide a directory and advertising portal connecting international passengers with verified commercial transport operators in Japan. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, or direct transportation carrier. We do not arrange transportation contracts, set final passenger ride fares, or hold custody of ride revenues.

2. Eligibility & Verification Requirements

To register and receive leads through our platform, Driver Partners must meet and continuously maintain the following criteria under Japanese law:

  • Green Plate Registration: Every vehicle used to fulfill passenger trips must carry an official commercial green license plate (Midori-Nanbā / 緑ナンバー). White-plate (Shiro-Nanbā) vehicles are strictly prohibited.
  • Commercial Licensing: Drivers must hold a valid Class 2 Commercial Passenger Driver's License (Futsuu Nijuu / 普通二種).
  • Commercial Insurance: All vehicles must be covered by active, legally compliant commercial passenger liability insurance.

We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate any Driver Partner who fails to provide proof of compliance or operates illegally.

3. Lead Purchase & Delivery

We deliver phone- and/or email-verified passenger trip inquiries ("Leads") to registered Driver Partners. Leads are sold on a fixed-fee basis (Exclusive or Shared) as outlined in your partner agreement or purchase link.

  • No Revenue Commission: We charge zero percentage commission on the final fare agreed upon between you and the passenger. You retain 100% of your transport revenue.
  • No Contract Guarantee: Purchasing a Lead grants you access to verified client inquiry details. We do not guarantee that a client will select your quote or finalize a transport agreement.

4. Lead Replacement Policy (B2B Protection)

All Lead sales are final. However, we provide credit replacements for bad data if reported within 24 hours of purchase under the following conditions:

  • The provided phone number or WhatsApp contact is disconnected, invalid, or belongs to an unrelated party.
  • The inquiry is verified to be automated spam or a fake submission.

Note: A client deciding not to book, choosing a competing provider, or canceling their travel plans does not qualify for a Lead refund or replacement, as this represents normal commercial risk.

5. Passenger Contracting & Payment Settlement

All transportation contracts, price negotiations, payment terms, and service executions are established directly between the Driver Partner and the passenger. Driver Partners are solely responsible for issuing receipts, collecting fares, managing cancellation policies, and ensuring passenger safety during transport.

6. Limitation of Liability

JapanDriverConnect assumes no liability for dispute outcomes, accidents, vehicle damages, flight delays, passenger cancellations, or unpaid fares arising from services performed by Driver Partners. Driver Partners agree to indemnify and hold harmless JapanDriverConnect against any claims, losses, or legal liabilities incurred during transport execution.

7. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our lead services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
